We’re set to possibly get 10cm (4 inches)
or more tonight into Monday and Tuesday here in Nova Scotia

We don’t get a lot of snow here (certainly not by Michigan or Canada standards), but the first couple of snowfalls definitely brings out the stupid in most people. Everyone magically forgets how to drive in the stuff. Unfortunately we tend to get more freezing rain than snow. That’s lots of fun. :(

I must be too. I imagined kids slipping all over the place and had to laugh. :)

No Weather Warnings up yet, it’s just a Weather Statement (one step below a warning) at the moment, and as I live on the coast, there’s a good chance we’ll get only the 10cm and no more as it tends to mix with rain here often as well....won’t be nice the next two days though!
Chilly but nice here this morning though, the frost is just starting to burn off. :)

Insurancepocolypse is late summer here in Houston, and involes liquid precipitation. Similar number of self inflicted car damages though thinking "I can get through that...".

Just like Texas, where everything is bigger, including fuck ups when it snows 3 microns.

In Baton Rouge, the city doesn’t have the equipment to deal with and the drivers don’t have the experience to drive on snow. That’s why the whole city sits down at the mere suggestion of the white stuff falling from the sky.

Sit’s down! Hah! I guess it’s appropriate, but I think everyone knows I meant shuts down.
